A Note from the Founder
Kuzuzangpo la,
Kinley Rabgyel
Founder, GoXimbo · Thimphu, Bhutan
Born in Bhutan, Kinley founded GoXimbo to share his country the way he knows it: slowly, personally, and with care.
Bhutan has a way of reminding us that the most meaningful journeys are not measured by how far we travel, but by what we discover along the way.
The journey that shaped me

My own journey in tourism has been shaped by years of working closely with travellers, travel advisors, and the many people who make a visit to Bhutan possible. Each journey has offered a lesson, each relationship has deepened my understanding, and every guest has reinforced a simple belief: that the true value of travel lies not only in the places we visit, but in the care, trust, and human connection that shape the experience.
These experiences have gradually shaped the philosophy behind GoXimbo.
A responsibility, held with humility

For me, the privilege of sharing Bhutan with the world comes with a responsibility - to honour the spirit of this extraordinary country while creating journeys that are thoughtful, personal, and worthy of the trust placed in us. It is a responsibility I approach with humility, knowing that there is always more to learn, better ways to serve, and new possibilities to explore.
What luxury means to us

At GoXimbo, we believe that exceptional travel begins long before arrival and extends well beyond the journey home. It lives in the care taken to understand each traveller, the integrity behind every promise, the people who bring an experience to life, and the quiet confidence of knowing that every detail has been considered.
Our approach to luxury is rooted in this belief. It is not simply about remarkable places or beautiful accommodation, but about the freedom to experience Bhutan at your own pace, the reassurance of thoughtful planning, the warmth of genuine hospitality, and the opportunity to connect with the country beyond the expected.
A shared journey

We see Bhutanese tourism as a shared journey — one shaped by our guides, drivers, hoteliers, artisans, travel partners, and local communities. Their knowledge, dedication, and generosity are an essential part of what makes Bhutan special. We believe the future of tourism lies in nurturing these relationships, embracing new possibilities, and creating experiences that bring lasting value to our guests and to the people who call Bhutan home.
Moving forward
Years of working across different travel partnerships and guest experiences have taught me that the finest journeys are rarely the result of a single extraordinary moment. They emerge from many thoughtful decisions, open communication, reliable coordination, and a genuine willingness to understand what matters to each individual. These are the principles we aspire to carry into everything we do.
As travellers become more discerning and the world continues to change, we believe our responsibility is to keep moving forward - to listen more closely, plan more thoughtfully, communicate with greater clarity, and remain accountable to the experiences we create. Progress, to us, means preserving what makes Bhutan distinctive while continually finding better ways to share it.
GoXimbo is built on this aspiration: to bring together the experience we have gained, the relationships we value, and the possibilities we see for the future of travel in Bhutan. Not to redefine what makes our country special, but to find more thoughtful ways to help the world experience it.

"Experience is not what we deliver. It is what you remember."
Every journey to Bhutan begins long before the wheels touch down in Paro.
Before you arrive
It begins with a conversation, never a form. Before we plan a single day, we want to understand who you are, how you like to travel, and what you hope to feel when you are there. Nothing is assumed; everything is asked, and then carefully remembered.
From that first message to the moment you board your flight, you should feel one thing above all: that someone is quietly taking care of the details, so that you can simply look forward.
While you are here

The finest service in Bhutan is often invisible. It is a guide who remembers how you take your tea, a day that gently bends around your energy, a driver who slows down because the light on the valley is too beautiful to rush.
We design for these moments deliberately. Our role is to be present without hovering - close enough to anticipate, discreet enough to let the country speak for itself.
Long after you leave

A journey does not end at the departure gate. It lives on in the stories you tell, the photographs you return to, and the people you remember by name. We stay in touch, we listen to what moved you, and every guest's reflection shapes the next journey we create.
My role at GoXimbo is to help build this experience DNA: a shared way of thinking and caring that runs through every guide, every conversation and every detail, so that each guest feels the same warmth, wherever their journey takes them.
