Lisa & Alexa , United States of America · Phobjikha Valley, Wangdue Phodrang
The roots of the tree go deep, yet the branches reach for the same sky. A Bhutanese proverb often spoken to describe the bond between those who walk the path together.
What an amazing trip you put together for us both.
What an amazing trip you put together for us both, Kinley. Besides letting us see a glimpse into your world and your country, I enjoyed our talks about spirituality. I love to learn, and there is so much to learn from others.
And thank you for making my birthday so, so special. I will cherish my necklace, especially as it was made for both my daughter and me.
Happiness is such a big word that holds so much meaning. It is a word that can stand alone.
This is my time here in Bhutan, spending a mother-daughter trip together. Happiness is collecting memories in Bhutan. How can I say we had a special birthday cake and got to light a candle that will stay lit? My time here happened, and now it will forever be a memory that will bring my thoughts of Bhutan and happiness.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With love and gratitude, Lisa & Alexa
